Looking and being looked at and the way in which we do it are important components of our bodyness and our awkward body.
These fundamental questions are at the base of our research:
1) What is a woman and what should she be?
2) What is a woman’s body?
Women not only have their bodies as a beacon of pride.
It is also a dangerous, unwanted for pole of attraction and a centre of judgment.

As human beings living in society, we are defined by a sexual identity. We present ourselves within this sexual identity in the way we move, speak and relate with each other, and this creates boundaries in our behavior. These limits were imposed on us by the traditional, dominant (and male) gaze.Out of this comes forth a fixed image about the body and the identity which is, on the contrary, complex.
We, as performers, want to show the distorted 'reality' of gender and identity.
